Die Idee zu DormDorm.com ist vor knapp zwei Wochen in den USA entstanden als ein Bus mit 25 angehenden Gründern (u.a. mit einem Deutschen der auch im Team von DormDorm.com ist) quer durch die USA nach Austin/Texas kreuzte. Das Ziel des StartUp-Buses ist die Gründung von sechs Start-Ups vom Beginn der Reise in San Francisco bis zum Ziel. DormDorm.com soll zukünftig das Problem der leerstehenden Studentenbuden in den Ferien beheben.
